  3. This program is meant to simulate evolution in a colony of digital bugs that
  4. vaguely resemble real single-celled organisms. They have one sense, the ability
  5. to see the cell directly ahead of them, which can be occupied by either nothing,
  6. food, poison, or another bug. Their behavior is determined by looking up what
  7. their eye senses in a genetically inherited array of probabilities. They can
  8. reproduce either by asexual division, or by conjugation and genetic crossover,
  9. and you can watch the bumbling, twirling ancestors give rise to ultra-efficient
  10. feeding and searching machines.
